With Gratitude for a Life Offered
Last August, we experienced a moment of profound joy and gratitude in Venezuela: the First Vows of Sister Katerin as a Missionary of Christ Jesus.
Moved by God's faithfulness and by the generosity of her response, we give thanks for this step, born from a story woven with love, discernment, trust, and dedication. Before the gathered community, Sister Katerin pronounced her "yes", a simple yet courageous yes that joins the witness of so many women who, throughout our history, have offered their lives in service to the Gospel and to those most in need.
We also give thanks for all those who have accompanied her along this journey: her family, Christian communities, the sisters, and the many people who have supported her vocation through prayer and daily encouragement.
May this new beginning be a source of hope for the Church and for our Congregation. May the Lord continue to guide her steps, and may her life, joyfully given, be a sign of God's love in our world.
Thank you, Katerin, for your yes. Thank you, God, for continuing to call and to make fruitful every life offered in your service.
