We, the Missionaries of Christ Jesus, have been working around the world since 1944. Our mission has always been to spread the word of God, offering formal and informal education, promoting health and infrastructure, supporting sustainable development, accompanying the needy, teaching about human rights and social justice and forming Christian communities. Below, we present a summary of our activities in different regions of the world.
África
In the Africa region, we have mission houses in Cameroon, Chad and the Congo. Here, we are heavily involved in the construction of health infrastructure, hospitals and dispensaries. We also participate in preventive and alternative medicine programs and in the construction of wells to guarantee access to drinking water.
India
Our missionary sisters in India are dedicated to formal and informal education, seeking comprehensive training that opens opportunities so that everyone can have a more dignified life. We are also present in the regions of Gujarat and Jharthand where we have taken perpetual vows.
Latinoamérica
You can find our missionary houses in Venezuela and Bolivia. We are working on sustainable development projects, with microcredits and cooperatives, helping to improve agriculture, so that those who have few resources can take care of themselves. In Santiago de Chile, we are very committed to local communities.
Japón y Vietnam
You can also find us in Japan and Vietnam. In Vietnam, we share experiences with the pre-novices and collaborate with Caritas Saigon. In Japan, we are preparing the 2023 Meeting.
Spain
In Spain you will find our general house in Madrid and our regional house in Javier, Pamplona. Here, in addition to our regular activities, we are teaching awareness about Human Rights and Social Justice, so that the dignity of the person is respected.
