Lay Missionaries
We are Christians, men and women, with a committed faith option, we identify ourselves with the 'Charism of the Missionaries of Christ Jesus' to live Our Missionary Commitment.
We live the spirit of the MCJ, of simplicity, of prayer, open to other cultures and religions, and making known the liberating message of Christ.

In Spain the group is made up of diverse Christian women and men with a diversity of professions:
We carry out our evangelizing task, of making God present, in the midst in which we find ourselves.
We are missionaries in our environment: Work, parish, prayer groups, neighborhood organizations, NGOs...
Group History
First meeting in 1995. Meetings once or twice a year in Madrid or Javier. In Javier, October 2000, the Lay Missionaries of Christ Jesus Association. Year 2005 the Statutes are approved. Lay assemblies every year in Javier. The Ideology sets the script for the evaluation and for the guidelines of the Annual Work Plan. As of 2020, we are part of the Spanish Delegation in preparation for the XIII General Assembly of the MCJ. In the XIII General Assembly of the MCJ we already participated with representation as a group of lay MCJ.

About us?

What mission do we share?
Compartimos la misión de Jesús con nuestras hermanas religiosas.
We carry out our evangelizing task, of making God present, in the midst in which we find ourselves. Sharing who we are, following Jesus, in our families, in our work, serving the excluded in all aspects. Inside or outside the country with frequent encounters between us.
